8-4 Play 9/14/2012: PLAY U NEXT WILL HOW?

To be honest, none of us remember recording this episode — after the deluge of Nintendo’s Wii U announcements (prices! Dates! 2 SKUs! Monster Hunter Ultimate! Toki Tori 2! …wait, I mean Bayonetta 2!), we woke up the next day, and it was just THERE. We took it as a sign to add on part two of our Super Nintendo 21st (more or less) Super-anniversary retro-sode, focusing on the system’s epic game library (OCD bonus: in chronological order!).

I should mention; Flash memory is many tens of times the price of a hard drive. Flash memory is still cheap, but a HDD is even cheaper. You can compare HDD and SSD prices on Newegg and Amazon to get a sense of how the price scales based on amount of storage.

Chronological order must result in a really packed S section!

  3. Installing a new PS3 hard drive is extremely quick and easy. Backing up the data is what takes awhile.

The only really notable game that I found that you missed was Harvest Moon. But there is not much to say if no one at the table was into the game. Thanks for the great podcast.
