Yup, thanks for posting that Tekken ending in the show notes.

  2. Aria says:

On a side note, this was a good episode.

  3. Monkey0111 says:

Pretty good. I would have liked more predictions though. That’s always super fun.

I also think that you guys should stick to talking about things you’re all interested in. Like, it was sort of odd that you spent so much time (it seemed like 10 – 15 minutes) talking about Call of Duty and Gears, but no one in the room was really interested. It felt like you were sort of going through the motions, and was a bit of a chore to listen to.

  4. Aria says:

…Oh… I was listening to last weeks podcast… xD

  5. Cristian says:

I got a large collection of PS2 games and I wanna play PS2 games, I wanna buy them again.

    Holy fuck you are retarded.

I wish Kojima would put MGS to rest. How many years ago was it that he was complaining about being forced to make Metal Gear? And he’s still at it. It’s time to move on. Hopefully the new engine won’t just be an excuse to make a new one. At this point, they should make a new Zone of the Enders. Japan needs new franchises. Sequelitis is setting in big time across the board. Even Nintendo’s big hitters like Zelda are starting to feel stale. I lol’d at the prediction that the Vita will be $250. How much is an iPad 1 again?

  7. Robotbling says:

Well, I certainly ate crow on the price of the Vita. They’re giving quite a discount to the Americans though – 249 Euros is equivalent to $360 USD, and 24990 Yen is like $299 USD. It’s like Sony is forcing the Europeans and Japanese to pay more so the U.S. gets it cheaper.

  8. Dave says:

Another excellent episode, keep it up!

I’ve just bought Alan’s eBook for my Kindle, it’s only £0.68 over here in the UK :)

For anyone else after Kenji Eno’s book “Dear son”, here’s a look to Amazon I found on his blog: http://www.amazon.co.jp/dp/4344019938/

  9. Dave says:

Darn, it’s £30 delivery for the book from Amazon.jp to the UK :( I guess I’ll never get to read that then!

  10. Martin Penwald says:

About Marcus Fenix’ father in Gears:

    - you found a thorough map of all the Locust tunnels in Adam Fenix’ lab in the basement of their mansion in Gears 1
    - you heard a transmission by the presumably dead Adam Fenix at the end of the second game.

So yeah, his father is quite the big deal.
