…You idiots, give Mr Mizuguchi a microphone!

AWESOME podcast guys. This was one of your better ones. Also, I just received the Dragon Quest t-shirt that I won a few episodes back. It’s great, and thanks once again. ;p

  3. Monkey0111 says:

8-4 did the translation for Shadows of the Damned, right? It came out today with pretty good reviews, so congrats! Could you maybe talk a little about the game on the next podcast?

You guys really should have pushed them on releasing Child of Eden for the Wii U. Don’t know why Miz says he didn’t understand it, and why Milky was so down on it. Sure, it’s not the greatest thing in the world but if it’s more powerful than the 360 and PS3 a port should be easy to pull off quickly.

  5. BboyMD says:

Wow, Nintendo must have won the E3 Title because you guys were pouring on the Haterade. :P
In all seriousness, I wish you guys (Milky and Cheapy D) would have elaborated more on why you didn’t like the WiiU. It seemed like there was a lot of “I just got this feeling” and “We know Nintendo won’t do that right”. Particularly in terms of how the controller would limit the system, because, other than the triggers, which very well could change in a year, it seems that everyone else loves the controller. It seems to me that we know next to nothing about the system, basically just know the gimmick. People essentially said the exact same things about the DS, and it turned out the second touch-screen was mostly a gimmick, but it didn’t effect all of the heaps of good games on the DS. Going after Nintendo for not localizing stuff is totally appropriate, and I agree, but it just seems way too early to go after the WiiU.
I do appreciate the show you guys do, it’s great, there are lots of haters on the internet, but I respect your guys’ opinions so much that I wanted to leave this comment, which I wouldn’t normally bother doing. So, keep up the great work.

Hey 8-4, I enjoy listening to your show. It is nice to find a podcast where I have similar thoughts as the host. Keep bringing the good stuff.

Child of Eden does not have the most compelling or even understandable story, but that didn’t really bother me.I beat the game, yet I didn’t really know what going on. All I can collect is you are attempting to save a girl named Lumi from a virus filled cyberreality.
